As the managing partner of CLD Partners, Christopher Mfume is responsible for leading all development and investment activities and guiding the firm’s projects through inception to completion. He is also responsible for sourcing acquisitions and investment opportunities, as well as overseeing design direction and growth strategy.

Mr. Mfume previously worked at Beatty Development Group, a real estate development firm focused on large scale mixed-use projects with an emphasis on sustainable design and placemaking. Previous projects include the Exelon Tower, 1405 Point, and Oldtown Mall, a 36 acre master planned development in the heart of Baltimore City.

A Baltimore native, Mr. Mfume is committed to improving the City through the development of innovative and sustainable projects and the creation of contemporary urban environments. Mr. Mfume also supports and actively participates in local community initiatives such as the POWER HOUSE and the Fresh Start Program which mentors at risk youth in Baltimore City between the ages of 17-19. A Wake Forest graduate, he enjoys traveling, cooking, and exercising in his spare time.
